It's just wrong. | Keep in mind, as Jim said about the scan he took, that it isn't an accurate color representation. His scanner did the dreaded color shift. |

The roman numerals kind of throw me off a little bit too, really..unbalanced. Especially when the snapper just has II. |

At first, i only noticed it on the $100 chip and thought it was an extra security feature for the higher denoms, but then i noticed it on all of the chips after looking again.
