Chips: 1,090 | | | Vegas trip in about a week - any new card rooms that shouldn't be missed? Thread title says it all. I'm heading to Las Vegas for the first time in over a year - seems like forever.
Anyway, going out for a convention, but taking a few extra days beforehand to visit and play a bit of poker. Any new or massively changed card rooms or casinos that I shouldn't miss? The WSOP starts the weekend I'm going so I'll probably check out the Rio if I can get near it. I'm staying at the Hilton just off strip.
What's new and special that I should incoporate? TIA.

The dealers were great! They kept the game moving, but really knew how to have a good time. I loved playing there. Im going to write a review for there pretty soon, so if you haven't left check it out. One awesome point is a high hand jackpot every hour. Any full house or higher that you use both cards and the pot is over $20 qualifies. It pays $150 every hour. |

If you haven't played in the Venetian noon tourney...best tourney in Vegas for the price ($150) and structure.
Harrah's Casino with all there Casinos run free shuttles to the Rio. Hopefully you can hit a shuttle from the Hilton to the strip then to the Rio. If your a cheap ass like me....I like to think I'm taking in the sites.
Last year I was in Vegas for the WSOP (mid month). You have to check out that place. It's awesome...all the pros, tons of tables, lots of action with cash tables, and tons of satellites. I played in a seven card 8/b satellite, had a blasted. I also watched some of the $50,000 HORSE event.
Good Luck with your trip,

CardPlayer.com - Poker Tournament Coverage. If you like to play cash 1/2 NL I recommend the MGM...they get 7-12 tables every night and the action is great. |
