5/10 cent cash game

I was wondering if anyone here plays micro cash games with nickels and dimes. What chips do you use for your micro cash games sets?

My gang of players usually play 25/50 cent cash games but are looking into playing micro stakes for longer action. I'm ready to purchase a really cheap set of plastics for this purpose. I really just wanted to see what people use for nickels chips if you do play micro stakes.

I bought a set of 300 Palm Imports clays, left them blank and can use them for anything...I use this set for travel.

We played .5/.10 over Christmas with these.......

Re: 5/10 cent cash game

The PI clays are a good idea. I love the peach color on those chips. I found a nickel chip but not a good decent dime chip.

Oh Sweet I love these chips...too much for my budget though
But post pics soon I'm pretty sure everyone wants to see.

I play with a gang of 10 for cash games. We do dollar buy-ins. Of course there are constant re-buys. So I need about a thousand chips so it causes no disturbance in re-buying and buying in. I have quarters covered up the yazooo so that's not a problem.

Re: 5/10 cent cash game

I have Paulson Starburst that I use for both my micro cash games and my tourney's. I have the acrylic chip tree so that everyone knows what color is what. I don't have any pictures of anything yet but as soon I get some I will put some up.

Re: 5/10 cent cash game

I am in the process of setting my Faux Clays (dyed of course) for low stakes action: .05, .25, .50, 1, and 5. I've got enough whites to make a full cash / High T tourney set which would encompass: 05, .25, .50, 1, 5, 25, 100, 500, 1000, 5000. Just trying to settle in on the colors.

Good luck

Re: 5/10 cent cash game

I use my ASM Black Sands for 5c/10c, using the non-denom (turtle) chips as 5c. There may be some people getting solid ASMs during the 10% off sale so you could maybe add some inlays to horsehead or hourglass mold chips? Or they also do hotstamp A-mold at pretty reasonable prices, especially if you're just buying some fractionals to complement an existing set.

I've just got some faux which I'm going to use for 1c/2c pot limit crazy pineapple. $1-2 buy-ins with mostly white (2c) chips.

Regards,

David.

Re: 5/10 cent cash game

This might work, it sounds crazy I know but the price is right. How about real nickels and dimes. I'm not sure you can find chips for much less.

Re: 5/10 cent cash game

I can't shuffle dimes.

or nickles.

I'd stick with chips.

My favorite .05/.10 game was played with Crystal Parks Yellow/Black $5 we used them as nickles, every one started with a rack, five handed.
