I actually do a little better whn I've had a few beers (read: six-pack). I am more relaxed and give off fewer tells. Or maybe not fewer tells, but it is easier to give off misleading tells. Normally, my weakness is when I have a medium strength hand. But Budweiser helps me play more decisively when I'm on a draw...

Online I play horribly if buzzed or "one eye-ing it" but live games I tend to do well since the regs at my game play the ole "I'll just sit back and wait to hammer him when he does a big bluff"...but the truth is by the time that occurs I've accumulated enough bluffing chips to take the hit.

First couple help me play better and get "in the zone"... after that I don't really remember too much BTW... I'm usually pouring healthy glasses of single malt

For me it seems to take the edge off... At least I think so. This seems to help me when getting involved in big pots. Kind of like going to the dentist and getting the gas... GOOD STUFF!
