No you dont, well maybe you do. What I'm trying to say is open a curtain or take some pictures by the window. Natural light is by far the best for taking pic's. Wait for a sunny day, and dont place the chips in direct sunlight.
Also remember to use the auto white balance on your camera, if you have different modes then macro is great for close ups (small flower icon). Taking shot's early in the day will result in pictures with a slight blue tinge, later in the day will give you a slight red tinge.
Its much easier to get good shots that people realize. Indoor lighting can be so harsh and leads to washed out yellow looking shots.
I'm not an expert but it's what I have learned and really helps.
