someone posted recently about getting a collection started w/ one massive purchase... i couldn't find the thread again, but i found a pretty interesting auction on ebay with lots of paulson chips (plus some duplicates for possible resale):
by the way, anyone know anything about that harry s. truman chip? i like that mold...
I seem to remember some discussion quite a while back that these were NOT made by Paulson (and maybe not even clay??), but this seems to indicate otherwise. Unless there was some company knocking off several styles of Paulson chips.
I can't find the thread, but it may have even been on another forum...
wow, those scandias on that mold look great. if those are paulson knockoffs, then the inlays on the "knockoffs" sure do look much nicer than the inlays on the ones that are known to be paulsons...
[edit]well, now that i look at the shaped inlay scandias, the inlays look about the same. look how warped the inlays look on some of the chips on the bottom row on the pic in the op. that must be an optical illusion, heheh...[/edit]
What kind of chips are you planning on collecting... just paulsons and clays?
