Good luck with your auction. If they end up unsold and you feel like bringing 'em back here and selling in smaller sets, I'd still be interested.

I'll second that, I'd be up for some plaques.

Closest you can get is the Egyptian Plaque. Those are $6 each and only available in one denom. This is a set of 138 from a real casino. Something like that comes up on ebay very rarely. Folks on this site valued them at $10-15 each. If a person likes, and are happy with something like New Paulsons, there's no reason for them to be interested in these. It's for those looking to bring there homegame up to the next level.

Value? I think their value is equal to whatever someone will pay for them.

In the ad it says that $2000 will break even but it seems like a lot spend to me-ONLY because the set is a mix and match. I mean the plaques alone cost $400, and 2005 JB's are another $100 at $1 per chip. So the remaining 900 chips would work out to be ~$1.70 per chip. All very reasonable prices seperately for sure.

I agree with rtwilber, you could get a MONSTER set of Ten's chips for that kind of dough. But to be honest, I really do like the Fun Nite chips and think they are a great deal at that price but when you have to buy JB's and plaques too you limit the number of interested buyers.

auction ending soon....

Check it out, reserve is $2000, if it sells at that price you'll be getting a great deal!

I'll also consider ending early if you have a equivalently nice, but smaller set and some cash to trade. PM/email me.

Well the auction reserve has been reached as of last night. So one lucky bidder will win the lot of chips and plaques. Note that the price of the auction is still low enough where you could buy the lot and sell the parts and make a few hundred dollars. The responses from this site alone leads me to believe that one could get around $3000 if you sold all the parts off. If you have some funds available for an investment, go for it. Plus you could keep some plaques or whatever for your own homegame! Auction ends around 2pm CST. Bidding is only at $2000...so a person could potentially buy this as an investment and make several hundred bucks. Feel free to PM me with any questions if you have any.
