Value? I think their value is equal to whatever someone will pay for them.
In the ad it says that $2000 will break even but it seems like a lot spend to me-ONLY because the set is a mix and match. I mean the plaques alone cost $400, and 2005 JB's are another $100 at $1 per chip. So the remaining 900 chips would work out to be ~$1.70 per chip. All very reasonable prices seperately for sure.
I agree with rtwilber, you could get a MONSTER set of Ten's chips for that kind of dough. But to be honest, I really do like the Fun Nite chips and think they are a great deal at that price but when you have to buy JB's and plaques too you limit the number of interested buyers.
