Chips: 5,918 | | | How about these 13 Gram Chips on Ebay? I just ran across these chips on ebay (they were in the AVON category, of all places). The auction states that they are clay chips and the heaviest at 13 grams, even though further down in the description, it states they are a composite resin, with inserts. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions of these chips? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...187099786&rd=1

They are actually mid range in price, but far surpass dice chips (most any 11.5 clone) in quality.
If you have ever seen the Nana, these are the chips I bought RAP for housewarming. They feel not so much like clay, but have a softness too them that prevents them from slipping off one another. |

Chips: 2,131 | | It cracks me up how every cheapo chip's ad copy always states they are the heaviest chip on the market. First of all, why is that so good? Second of all, I think the Tangiers (16g) or all-metal chips ( Steel City, 22g!) are the heaviest chips on the market.
I once posted that they will eventually come out with depleted uranium chips, which now doing the real math (density of U is 19.05g/cm³) would result in a 40mm chip weighing about 77g. Nice! |

Nice! | Those do sound nice deckard! Will my standard 500 chip aluminum case hold them though? Also, can I get them with custom inlays and edgespots? I'm thinking of cobalt edges for my black chips. Maybe white phosphorous for the reds. Not sure what would work well on the greens tho.
