Craigslist (not mine): large set of Paulsons in Denver area

Anyone in the Denver area? There's a couple cool sets of old TH&C mold chips up on craiglist. One set of 1000-2000 chips are from the California Bell Club, the other is from the Nevada School of Dealing!

CASINO CLAY CHIPS

A group of $1, $5 and $25 chips from the defunct Nevada School of Dealing at 30 cents each. I do not have a count, but possibly in the thousand or so.

A 50 cent, $1, $5 and $25 chips from the defunct and closed Poker Club of the California Bell Club in Bell, California. A set for $10.00. I could have close to 1,000 to 2,000 chips. The $1 and $5 would be more numerous than the 50 cent and $25 chips. Those are the only denominations I have.

These are older chips made by the Paulson Dice and Card company in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Hat and Cane is their registered trademark. They are made of clay. The Bell California Club are clay with a center. I will deal with someone wanting to purchase all of the Nevada School of Dealing or all of the Bell California Club chips. I will trade for silver coins. I also have some layouts for Craps, Black Jack, Roulette and maybe some other card games that are new wool of various Casinos in Las Vegas. These are unused probably due to logo changes or colors.

I'm in the Denver area and can pick-up stuff if anybody makes a deal with this seller.

Why don't they show a picture of all the chips? That seems a bit odd.

On the one hand - holy SH!T, 2000 California Bell Clubs??? Wow, what a load! (in a good way)

On the other hand - holy SH!T, $2.50 each per chip??? Wow, what a load! (in a bad way)

oh wow I didn't even do the math on the Cali Bell chips - that does seem a bit pricey.

I just emailed the seller to confirm if that's what they really meant.

If he can get that much for his Cal Bells, I will sell mine and buy a Porsche. I can say from much experience that there are less than 40% of those chips in playable condition. Out of over 2000 bought, I have kept 800 in my set. Excellent $5's and $20's are like unicorns. I have ONE excellent $5 and have never seen an excellent $20.

You have a unicorn?

Thanks for the sanity check on the pricing.
