When this item popped up, bidding was starting at 99¢. I was going to bid $50 on it, thinking the chips looked kind of cool. Apparently I didn't know what I was looking at because it almost instantly shot up in price. Does someone here know what significance they have?

1949 - Reno, NV. The Sunflower Supper Club was licensed for slots, 21, craps and roulette. The club was located several miles south of Reno, at 9825 South Virginia Street. The casino didn't renew its license in September of 1950. The following year the club reopened as Echo's Club.
