Re: CL (not mine)Ceramic Poker Chips by Chipco
This is the thing about custom chips. They are custom only to the original purchaser. Once someone orders and pays for a set that is truly custom (like these with initials and or a name) they are valuable to the original buyer and only the original buyer.
This guys set has a market value of around $150.00.
If they were BCC's... Maybe $225 - $300, Paulson $300-$350. On a good day.
I mean who wants a set of chips from "Jeffro's Roadhouse" and also has the initials JSH?
The seller probably thinks these chips are awesome, but the thing is, no one wants someone else's custom chips.

I like that Sheriff's star bounty chip, though.

EXACTLY my thought! Group buy!
@Couga -- yeah, I know that & wanted to email the seller, but it just seems if they have the price that high, they really don't understand the resale/custom business...yet.

Just heard back from the seller who was very nice. He bought the Bounty Chips at
BountyChips.com, the game within your poker game.
Never heard of it before. And there are those Sheriff chips -- got's to get me some of those!

Re: CL (not mine)Ceramic Poker Chips by Chipco
first off, I want to personally blame UW for directing me here...if I lose any more sleep due to yet ANOTHER forum, it's their fault
I understand that one man's treasure is another's junk...just thought I'd throw things out to see if I get any hits (I actually had contact about a year ago from a guy in alaska whose nickname was also Jeffro & had a bar called jeffro's roadhouse, so I know I"m not all that unique)
there was a post I found about pentagon shaped chips...I've got one & I'll see what I can do to find out where it originated from (I'm also into guns and shooting sports & this was included with some swag in a recently received order) I'll post a pic in that particular thread about the pentagon chip
you haven't lived until youi've played poker with teh addition of the bounty chip...adds a little excitement & even the loser has a chance to make a few bucks

Hey JEFF!
That would rock if you could find someone with the same name to buy them. Great to see ya here -- now, run and hide before you end up like so many of us!
BTW, I did order 20 of those bounty chips -- THANK you so much for the heads up on those. My favorite bounty chip...so far...!

sure, you ask a simple question & in the process of researching the answer, I find 4 styles of bounty chips that I DON'T have! I see the curse is already taking effect

Have you seen epokerdeals? LINK --- I have several different bounty chips I lay out each month for players to select. Funny how some people pick certain chips.
