Is that the same guy? The one I linked is mytfine1... I thought the guy in that thread was highway-to-junk.

The only mention of mytfine1 in that thread is having left feedback for highway-to-junk?

BUYER BEWARE! It certainly feels like the same guy. He has been known to use multiple accounts, so it could be him again.

Gear-X, you can try He sells these chips a third time using shill bidding. Even if you will buy them at a high price, not the fact that you get them. Probably, you will be the second highest bidder. More likely you will ask about the remaining chips. After that you will receive an "attractive" offer from the seller.

Re: 100 MGM Detroit quarters $175 BIN

this is what happened to me. Got outibid and minutes later got a second chance offer. Literally, less than 5 minutes.

Luckily I read that thread before I hit accept.

Re: 100 MGM Detroit quarters $175 BIN

I don't know the mytfine seller, but according to his ebay zip code he is in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan while the highway-to-junk guy is in St. Clair Shores, Mich. Both are metro Detroit area but they're quite a few miles away from each other. The mytfine seller also has a 100% rating while the highway-to-junk lister is something like 98%.
It's always "buyer beware" but with a 100% rating with over 4,800 sales/buys can mytfine be a "scammer"? He got a lot of other collectible stuff for sale too.
Again, I don't know either seller. Just my 2 cents.
At $175 a rack, these are a pretty good deal (providing you get the chips, of course)

Yes he can. Read the other thread, he usually does his scam sales as second chance or off-ebay sales. Thus avoiding the feedback system. Also, when ebay recently redid the feedback system, they wiped out all the negative feedback people had on their record.

So if you're gonna do it, use ebay and paypal with a credit card so you can get your money back if you get taken.

Understood.
If a losing bidder gets a second chance offer, simply don't accept if skeptical. I'm always leery of 2nd chance offers and have never accepted them.
I was pointing out the different cities of the 2 sellers and that perhaps mytfine1 wasn't the same guy as highway-to-junk.
