Blank Ceramics

300 Ceramic Poker Chips - eBay (item 220342108382 end time Jan-14-09 17:23:55 PST)
200 Ceramic Poker Chips - eBay (item 220341641860 end time Jan-13-09 13:12:00 PST)

Not sure what you would use them for but they would come in handy for unwarping chips, maybe as spacers or just to prop up that old wonky table leg

Re: Blank Ceramics

Thanks Mango, Perfect timing, I have 800 very wonky table legs to prop up.

Re: Blank Ceramics

What about the laser process for the faces. Does it work well on blank ceramics?

Re: Blank Ceramics

I've done some lasering on blank ceramics...it definitely looks a lot better on printed ceramics. I don't know this seller, but I would be wary of someone saying the chips are "the same as Chipco".

Re: Blank Ceramics

I have met this seller. He usually frequents some of the Flea Markets in my area. I have purchased a few singles for my collection. I haven't see the blanks that he's selling. I really haven't been to the Flea Market since the fall of last year. I don't know if that helps but I have never had a problem when dealing with him in person.

Re: Blank Ceramics

I would say with the lazering you still need some sort of color on the face of the chip or a big pot of them with 2 or more different denoms would be a mess to sort out.

I wonder if you could dye the faces of them??

Re: Blank Ceramics

Could you send them to Joe or Gene and get just the faces printed for a discount? Or maybe lazer out a recess and label it like a hybrid

Now that is a good idea!

Oh, and you could sand blast off the edges and make them all white again!! That would be a sweet 1/2 set up!

Re: Blank Ceramics

I saw these a few days ago and thought they would really only be worth picking up if you could get them for dirt cheap, and send them to get printed. If not, they're pretty useless IMO.
