I put in my bid of .99 so everyone stay away. |

I agree....by the picture I really don't think they are mint either...but then again the picture isn't exactly crystal clear. I've had many of these chips and have never seen real MINT...excellent yes, but not mint/uncirc.
Maybe his definition of mint is different. When I market chips as mint, I mean they are uncirculated.

I have purchase about a total of 4 rack of $3's and $2's. Seller claim they are mint. Trust me they are not...I have yet to even get a mint $2 or $3 for my sample set. I had to settle for excellent condition.
I will bet you the rack of $3's that he has is in an excellent condition. |

I just received the photos of these chips listed on ebay and opened them up and they are FAR FAR FAR from MINT. Not even close. They are quite good though, but absolutely definitely not even remotely close to mint chips. Edges are rounded and they have seen a lot of table play in the past. Not nearly like the $1 by any means, but buyer beware if you are expecting MINT Vineyards like the ones you are used to seeing.
Here they are. When I open these, I can enlarge them and it's clearly evident that these are very used. http://www.beachtrader.net/ebay/1.jpg http://www.beachtrader.net/ebay/2.jpg http://www.beachtrader.net/ebay/3.jpg
This is now what my definition of mint is and I sent this one to him as an example. |

Thanks for sharing. Those are definitely in the "Good to Very Good" category, in my books. Not even Excellent. Bite marks, rounded edges, texture shows wear near the edges... But they are very pretty chips, nonetheless. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
