I wonder what the book value of this chip is... There was only supposed to be 1 survivor. With all the shenanigans with Binnions chips here lately. I would be leary on some of these super rare chips. Then again I don't have the cash to bid that much for a single chip.

It's a lady that is selling it. She put it up on ebay earlier and it didn't hit the reserve. She posts on the chipboard everytime. From my old memory, I beleive her husband or relative used to work for the Summa corporation, who owned the Landmark at one time. I beleive the Summa corporation was owned by Howard Hughes.
Well, that doesnt make alot of sense...
It got a high bid of what, 4995 on the last auction...
Why sell it for less than your last highest bid.... why not
just offer a second chance to the highest bidder...
Doesnt make alot of sense to me.
1st it doesnt reach the reserve...
2nd, you sell it cheaper at a second auction for less
then the previously highest bid a few minutes earlier...
Seems like backwards world to me... Arent you trying to make
money, not sell it at less than possible... oh well.
It looks like a different bidder too at the BIN than who had the
highest bid on the 1st auction.
it probably cost about as much as a pair of work gloves to pick it out
of the rubble if this was from a destroyed casino....
What a deal.
