Saw this on ebay....besides not really being in love with the colors it seems like a solid table at a REALLY good price, even with shipping....any thoughts anyone?

They still charge $65 even if you pick up (warehouse handling?)

Re: Anyone Have an Opinion on this Table?

IMO, these poker table is good for the price. Keep in mind the material is MDF not plywood. The racetrack is laminated not real wood stain. You can also see that the vinyl rail is not one piece that alone will cut the cost down. One piece no seem is the best way to go. I have not mention the felt, they not that great and be sure not to let anyone spell and drink on those table.

I recommend if you want a quality poker table that will last you a long time is to find a local builder. Have it custom made. Cost more but better every way. Just like comparing Paulson to dice.

92x44 is a better size then the one at ebay.

Thumbs up Re: Anyone Have an Opinion on this Table?

You mentioned that you weren't that crazy about the colors. If you take a look at the other items that seller is offering you will see that you also have a table with a black rail also. I am not sure how well you are at working with your hands but if it was me I would invest in better materials and build one myself. There is a lot of pride that goes into doing it yourself not to mention all of the customizing options. Beside you always have chiptalk for guidance.

Re: Anyone Have an Opinion on this Table?

The auction in question has ended, did you "buy it now"?

Re: Anyone Have an Opinion on this Table?

You can built a 10X nicer table which will last you 10X longer for about the same money.

You need to know how to use a tape measure, a pencil, and jig saw or router, and a staple gun. It will take you about a weekend to build.

One thing will always remain true.
As in poker chips, is in poker tables: You get what you pay for.

Re: Anyone Have an Opinion on this Table?

A couple other things to consider, one of my pet peeves, cup holders in the racetrack (yuck) -- put them in the rail if you're going to have them. Also, to me that looks like a pretty significant height difference between the center felt and the racetrack. You won't be pushing stacks of chips between those two areas with spilling them. Then again, the price is pretty cheap and you would be getting a decent looking table for the $. As others have said -- you can build your own. I've done several -- just read up and went for it. Good luck.
