I'd be careful about the lsiting/wording of your auction eastwik - techinically those are the propoerty of MGM and only given to you on loan. If MGM saw thw listing they could come after you - I literally saw this on a travel channel show last night - they were talking about how it was ilegal to have someone else cash in chips for you or to give the hotel staff tips in the form of chips (like the room attendants, valet, etc) because the chips were loaned to the player not the staff

I personally do no care - and good luck with your auction - those are sweet chips - I just wanted to mention it as an FYI

What you say is totally true. However, $150 in chips which they have already been paid $200 for is not worth their time. Now if it were $5000 chips that they didn't know about they may come after him but I don't think anyone has to worry about racks of $1 chips from any casino.

I don't think they would even come after him for a $5000 chip because the casino doesn't have to redeem a chip that is being turned in by someone who didn't win it at the casino. The casino would be glad to trade a 5k chip for the cost of replacing it without ever having to pay out the 5k. This happened to someone that was given a $5k chip as a tip or payment for something and was unable to redeem it because they had not won it at the casino themselves.

All of this being said, I do love these chips and they are some of my favorite ones.
