maybe a tad bit high, but I've only seen the 10,000s pop up once on ebay in the past 6 months...and they sold fast, so I settle for these at that price. as a true chip-junkie, I just HAD to have them!!!!
thanks J... did you label those grands yet? would love to see your work!!!
Not yet - the artwork is still being worked on by the talented Mr. Malsom.
I have over 1000 Paulson chips now that I plan on labeling. A lot of them have pristine hot stamps on them so I will need to sand those down before I label them. The grands are perfect fro what I want to do.
I also just got a custom stamp set for my fauxs - I am really excited about that too. hint: It looks like my avatar

Before sanding them...you might want to try soaking them in pipe shield or some other cleaner for an extended amount of time. This will definitely remove the gold foil completely. I think about 1 hour should definitely do the trick. Once its gone, it might take less work for you to sand down the face to accept the label.

(just a thought - maybe try 1 first)
Thanks TP. I definitely thought about that. Another CT memebr Stevo has labeled a bunch of Paulsons and in speaking with him the major issue is the raised surface that hot stamping leaves in the chip. If you don't sand it down so it is smooth you will feel it and see it under the label. I definitely think soaking the chip will help - I'll try it out
