Hey Jim from the "Chiproom LLC"

Why are you interfering with my auctions on ebay?

You claim to know that the chips I am selling weren't used in a local card room but you won't provide any information. Why is that? I know the owner of the club, I went there, I know the city officials that issued the variance that allowed the club to run. So, tell me why you are causing problems with my auction on ebay? You claim that Chipco said that they made the chips. Why is so hard for you to believe that they were used at the East Rochester poker club?

I hardly feel this is the proper forum to discuss this, but since you posted this, here is my response.
I sent Nexttime a message through eBay that said the following.
Please stop advertising these as from a closed card room.
Response from Executive VP at Chipco. "I had our art dept do an in-depth search for the designs, and sure enough, we did these for one of our retailers in NV, back in 2004, but it was for a home gamer". Thank you.
Nexttime's Reposnse.
Screw you. I was there, I know it was open, I played there, I knew the owner. They have no idea what they are talking about.
He had a variance issued by the city of East Rochester to RUN A CARD ROOM!

Sure, give me the name and number of the Chipco person you spoke to.
I'll do a conference call with Phil, the owner of the club and myself. He BOUGHT the chips from chipco himself. I see him once a week when we play poker. I knew the manager of the club who also ran a LICENSED dealer training school in East Rochester and provided dealers for the licensed club. You are an ASS and do not know what you are talking about.
I'll bet money you can't provide a name and number of the Chipco person you claimed to have talked to.
Response #3 Posted on one of my Ebay Desert Palms Auctions.

Hi, are these rip offs of existing designs? Should I report you for
cloned chips? I think I should. I'm off to find the fraud report form
on ebay.
Response from Chipco Exec. when I forwarded him nexttimes's response.
Well, all I can say is, this guy bought his chips through one of our retailers, and it looked like 2 different times -
>>
If there was a variance, we here at Chipco didn't know about it and I'm sure our retailer didn't either -

Be your own judge. I still question the validity of these being from an actual card room. Jim

My only question is... WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT ANY OF THIS?

Sounds the same as Aquaman from ebay and his CDI chips.

I agree. I sent him a PM explaining that we could have had a civil discussion about his, but he choose to make it public. I felt I needed to defend his statement. Jim

Jim, you totally have the right to defend yourself. The guy's hostility in the messages is way out of line.

Deuce, you nailed it on the head, man. Who the **** cares?!!?!?

There is another member of this site who also knew the owner of the club, I will let him post if he wants.

Funny how you still claim to have insider information from Chipco but you won't say who it was. Is this sky still blue if this Chipco person says it's red? Who is this person, how come you won't say the name? I've talked with the owner of the club and he said anyone who wants to talk to him can. I'll provide the name and phone number. It was an LLC for God's sake.

Just who the h*ll do you think you are Jim to say it didn't exist? Get off your high horse and admit you are wrong. Or at the very least provide the name of the fictional Chipco ex you keep going on about.

I care because he reported the auction to ebay. He doesn't have a leg to stand on. What if he goes after your auctions because HE doesn't think the are real? Who says he gets to decided what is real and what isn't. Why should he be allowed to pretend that he has an exec feeding him information that only HE can relay.
What if your auctions are next?

I think I'd be upset if anyone reported to ebay my sale was fraudulent too without having verifiable proof.
