Thanks - I know the seller and only need a few of these chips (5-10, not 40). So I started the bidding and when someone else placed a bid over me I put in a higher bid. I think the auction is currently at my maximum. Although if it stays at this price and someone overbids me by 50 cents I might place another bid

I know I wouldn't feel comfortable about this conversation if I were selling these.

I saw that it was you bidding on them... I was willing to go a bit higher, but I figured you might be willing to go higher than that... If you were going to go 90c per, you were going to win the auction... I didn't want to run up your cost if I wasn't going to win.

But then like anything, post an ebay chip link here and the price hikes...

OK that makes sense. When the seller had an MTM listed here last week I don't remember seeing the $2.50s in the listing. Otherwise I might have contacted him about some of them
