Am I missing something here?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Dunes-100-Chip_W...QQcmdZViewItem

Isn't this an RT Plastic that sells for .79 cents?

The seller has a near identical Sands chip for sale also. For the same price.

Re: Ummm...

ALSO....the seller's comment about the Sands being imploded for the Bellagio is wrong. The correct answer is the Venetian

I am not 100% sure on this, but I believe this chip is a Gambler's General Store "Fantasy Chip" and sold for around $1 a piece.

If anyone is interested, I have a whole 200 chip set of these that I would be willing to part with, no problem!

R.

...or you can contact seller, sell them to her at half the price she is asking. she might think she's getting a bargain!

I spoke out of turn.

The seller is correct - the Dunes chip auction says correctly that it was imploded for the Bellagio.

The other auction for the Sands also correctly says it was imploded for the Venetian.

Also, I must point out that the SELLER does nowhere state that these chips were in fact used by the casino - only that they are a DUNES chip or a SANDS chip. People may be led to believe such, however

Re: Ummm...

yeah it's an RT plastic.

the seller didn't technicaly lie in his auction, but very shady.

I always wonder if these people are really that deluded, or if they are straight trying to rip someone off.

This is exactly the type of stuff I knew was going to happen without a 100 page debate on a creativity canon. Oh wait we had that debate. Someone might get scammed. Oh, the horror.
Sorry couldn't resist. This reply brought to you by the lack of rep.
