I commented on another thread how I wasn't fond of the new design....however being a chipper, just HAD to have the new $1 and $4 chips.....

I've actually never heard of a $4 chip?

For the dealers to easily take a rake. Once I heard they might be harder to come by, based on the casino, of course I HAD to have one....

Are these in play at the PH (formerly aladin) hotel in LV?

I will be out there over Memorial day weekend. I was palnning on checking out the hotel anyway so I can cruise by the poker cage and see if I can get some of those $4's

Yes, as i understand it, these are the ones currently in play. In the other thread about these (see link in my previous post) NevadaCasinoChips states that these $4 "drop chips" are hardly ever at the cage, but in the poker room. Just passing the info....

I will hit u up when it gets closer to my trip (memorial day weekend). I will most likely be posting to get suggestions/want lists because I plan on taking at least one afternoon and going on a chip crawl (similar to a pub crawl but with ..... oh you get the idea

). I wonder how good my negotiating skills will be by the end of that adventure
