That's my auction. Trust me, I'm not making a profit at that starting bid. I don't play that often anymore so I decided to sell one of my more expensive sets as it dosen't make sense to me to keep them (if they are not being used). It was either these or my Dunes...
There have been lots of discussions about playing with vs. collecting chips. I've always been in favor of playing with. It's just not that much of an investment and they theoreticaly would last a lifetime (or until you want a different set).
I ended the auction early, I just couldn't sell this set. I'm going to keep 520 and sell the rest. Keep an eye out for my auctions, they will hit ebay this weekend.
