No problem, it's not done for 6 days, I have a feeling this will end up in the mid to upper $300's anyway. You have t figure there's a bunch of us on here that do the same searches on ebay looking for "Vintage chip sets" that actually have a mold on them...if they slip through, the description is probably wrong or the pics are bad.
Here's Robert Eisenstadt's explanation of the difference:
HAT AND CANE, SHORT CANE VERSION (H&C- SCV) -- [T]he cane is relatively short (about 7.5 mm long) and the triangular area formed by the bottom of the cane and the left side of the hat and brim is rather small; also the bottom of the cane appears to end lower than the brim line. (The blue chip shown here is from the California Hotel, Las Vegas NV.)...... I recommend you visit Greg Susong's fine page about these variations and other interesting chip information.
HAT AND CANE, LONG CANE VERSION (H&C-LCV) -- ...[T]his one has a long cane (about 9 mm long), and there is a comparatively large area between the bottom of the cane and the left side of the hat and brim. Additionally, the lower end of the cane does not seem to go below the hat brim line.
Nice set. I love those smaller letters for the hotstamp. Sooooo classic. What will this go for? I am surprised by no bids but then again i don't know anything about ebay either.
