$4 a piece for Grand Casino tourney chips? You must be out of your damn mind. I have owned a set and I will be damned if they are worth $4 a chip. I could care less what anyone says, they look no different than Fun Nite, Saraha's, Cherries, etc. but for $4 a chip!! If I am ever going to spend that much I assure you it won't be for solid color, hot stamped tourney chips.

Old news dude, they're worth more than the chips you mentioned IMO but $4 each is pretty stupid. I would say $1.50 each.

I know they are a harder denom to score but WOW. He has one auction for a $300+ buy it now and one for $400+ buy it now.

I have some of your Sahara's coming HQ and I am killer excited but would not pay $4 a chip for them. I would hate to be the sucker who thinks he getting a deal on this one. Can you imagine the chip set we would score for $4 a chip....???

I am not disputing they are not worth more than what I mentioned but we all know they are the same solid colors with a different HS...period. I've had a set like I said, and I have samples of Fun Nites, Cherries, etc. and they are the same chip.

They are the same mold and are solids alike. BUT, the hot stamp is way better and they're from a casino that is now imfamous. Fun Nites (not from a casino) are tacky, and the Sahara's don't have a denom with only 3 colors. Cherries and Starbursts don't have much of a hot stamp but are OK. There is a difference.

I had the same reaction, hot stamped solid chips from a gulf coast casino....big deal. If they were from the Dunes, Sands or some other well known closed Vegas casino, maybe, maybe then yes I could see it. But IMo this casino has no great draw for me. $2 a chip maybe, but no more.
