These chips where made during the Harrahs 1 year reign at Binions. Supposedly they were made for some management or high-rollers who got a couple of sets but the bulk of them were sold by pre-order from the giftshop. They made 150 sets of these, in a wood box containing 500 chips. These are the chips:



My memory is a little fuzzy but we ordered them from the gift shop and they were shipped to your house about 4 months later. They came with the chips in the case, 2 boxes of cancelled Horseshoe cards, and 1 of the 2004 buy-in chips (notched). I seem to remember the price being under $300.

As for the purported "value"... well if someone wants to buy a set for $5K, let me know..

So as an aftermath I did a little calculation. There are 6B people in the world and 150 sets of these, that makes each set work 40M dollars -- his estimate of 5K is a little low.
