I disagree, and in fact this auction proves that. Just because a chip was made by Paulson doesn't mean it is worth $.XX minimum. The buyer is taking a risk. If the chips are all beat up, chipped, cracked, broken, can't be cleaned and turn out to be someone's home set, what this buyer has is 100+ pieces of junk with little top hat and canes on them. All for the cost of $63.00.
I am not trying to roast you here (I fear that hammer)

but it seems to me that too much emphasis is put on
any chip made by paulson. I am floored at the prices the '98 Bond chips, the Viva Las Vegas chips and the other chips put out by Paulson in the late 90's get. I remember not buying those chips back then because I thought they were God awful ugly. Now I wish I had bought them just for the pure resell value, but if I had purchased them, I would be laughing my arse off all the way to the bank when I sold them.
Now the great looking Paulson chips I understand. I know Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (I have 700+ of the New Sonny's which some think are butt, however I think they are beauties) but in most cases it seems that anytime the brand "Paulson" or the term "Top Hat and Cane" is thrown out there, people go rabid no matter what the chips look like, and I just don't get it... This is only my opinion and no offense was meant to anyone with this post, and I apologize in advance if anyone took it that way.
