Chips: 5,098 | | | Tournament Poker Software I've run this software for countless games and it's the fantastic at showing the basic running blinds/time etc. It won't track individual stats or anything but it's completely customizable -- even during the game -- you can adjust things like the blind time. It has payouts, house % and much more. Plus if you have a spare bit of time, you can play against the computer. You can even set it up to run the same blinds/progression as you run in your home game for practice.
No bids yet, starting bid + shipping under $10 -- a steal if you ask me. There is a newer version out not but I do not like it nearly as well. I set up my iMac with it running and a 50' VGA cable to another monitor so everyone can see...works perfect. http://cgi.ebay.com/Tournament-Poker...QQcmdZViewItem |

I've never used too many of my versions features, pretty much just used it as a level/blind timer. http://www.thetournamentdirector.net/ |

I agree with everything said so far.
However, I also purchased Tournament Director. I have to say that Tournament Director can do everything that other software can do except the ability to play poker against the computer. IMHO, Tournament Director is the better purchase. It is only $24.99 to purchase a license (never expires) and this includes all update downloads. It has more features than I can even come close to covering. I suggest you download the evaluation copy and try it out before buying either software. I think you'll find that Tournament Director is the far superior product.
Just check out this screenshot. I love that shot of my chips right on the screen. |

(assuming it runs on Mac) -- Just checked it out -- it DOES NOT run on Mac -- so hey, if you're a Mac user, you (and I) know the frustration of finding software -- this one DD Poker is a diamond!

I have used it now for going on 7 months. Once you purchase the full version and register the software it is COMPLETELY customizable as shown by agalvan's screenshot. You can do leagues, seasons, etc and it keeps track of all the stats you could imagine. Not individual play though! One thing I like is, once you are done with a tournament you can export the stats to an HTML file ready for posting to your sight or just to email out to your group.
I was skeptical at first but now I know it was definitely worth the $25. Too bad it only works on PC and not MAC...

here's a screencap of the final display at the end of our last game. (you can see that this app is definitely customizable). it runs on java so it works on a mac too. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
