Closed WSOP Chip Auction

Check out this little gem I happened across:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270047996460

No, not my auction. No, not my bid. I was just trying to imagine where these two chips must have been shipped from to demand this shipping cost. Halley's Comet?

Check out the note: "NOTE - I do combine Shipping on multiple auction wins. This WILL Save you $$$$!!!"

Re: Closed WSOP Chip Auction

You know whats funny about that, is the guy who bought the chips is trying to make his money back and then some by selling the 5 chip for 100 dollars, and 25k chip for $500. Thats so funny.

Re: Closed WSOP Chip Auction

I have seen both of these auctions you are referring to... He has even posted his links to the auctions on CT and I made the comment that $500 for the 25K chip seems a bit high. Guess we will have to see if there is anyone out there willing to pay that amount, you never know on Ebay.

According to my "Fed-Ex EZ Shipping Chart" it would be somewhere near outer Mongolia.

Re: Closed WSOP Chip Auction

I have no problem with the guy buying and trying to re-sell for a profit. That's the American way.

I just thought the $1 BIN and $350 shipping cost alone was worth a "Holy Crap!" post.
