I wonder if they think they are bidding on 500 chips. Thats a bit crazy to me. But if someone were in the tournament ($25,000 buy-in) and wanted a memento I guess this isn't that much $$.

though they don't use this set for the weekly tournaments - only the special events. i played the weekly 1k a few times this year, and they had solid stamped paulsons.

For some reason I read it to bee 500 chips. Then I got thinking "who would bid that much with only seeing one chip?"

I bet whoever bid on it was thinking the same.....it just doesn't make sense otherwise.
