One side of the chip is awesome, the one without the value. I am not crazy about the other side though. It is sweet that they are on a house mold. Usually casino NCV chips are on the hat and cane mold. Now if only I had nine grand laying around...

I'm not a big collector, so I might be missing something:

"R-5 means that there's 75-150 [of these]."

"I'm selling 300 of them......"

So the guide is wrong? And the value that the guide gives?

I wonder if the R-5 status will change now that these have surfaced.

Like the auction states, R-5 means there are 75-150 known. Obviously this is a "find" and the guide will be updated to reflect 375-450 known. The value is no longer appropriate because of the now increased number of examples.

I've noticed that when this happens, people assume there are more "in hiding" and the price drops even further.

So that buy now price of $9k could be waaaaay overly optimistic?

Nice chips though.
