Yeah, this company has sold alot of these units. I am pissed I didn't buy one when I first saw them, I think I saw one sell for like $800 or $1000. Now they are going well into and nearing $2000 but I havn't been watching as I'm not really interested in an ACE shuffler. Now if a huge lot of DeckMate became available I would be watching those like a hawk to get one.

From that auction description, though, it doesn't spit out a shuffled deck... its spits out two cards at a time, or whatever combination is needed for the game it is dealing...

How often do shufflers like this make it out into the open market?
Not very often. This particular auction seller sold 5 or more that I saw, maybe more. They sold a bunch of ACEs, Kings and one or two MD1s. All were used and likely reclaimed from closed casinos I bet.
