I'll say this, if he's trying to make enough money to buy a house, putting upp stuff worth $1 for $1000 and having to pay ebay fees isn't the smartest way. |

Well...I was totally going to help this guy out and buy this chip, he seems like a nice kid and could use some help, but then I read he also wants to start a 'Dashboard Confessional' Cover band, and my money cannot and will not support such an atrocity....

I love how he brings up the "Red Paperclip" guy as his model. Um... that kind of thing works once -- it's the novelty factor that gets people to help him out. (And he had nothing to do with eBay anyway.)

The guy with the paper clip didn't go from paper clip to house. He resold many many times. And got real lucky a couple of times. And did alot more research and hard work.
