Rare? WSOP?...

I would be hard pressed to believe these are real. They look like suited plastics with a sticker. Am I right or wrong?

Re: Rare? WSOP?...

Junk plastics with a sticker. Probably worth about $0.02 per chip. Even at $0.75 including shipping this would still be over-priced.

Re: Rare? WSOP?...

These look like the same chips they sell in the RIO gift shop for a buck a piece. Looks to me like somebody copied that sticker and made a batch of their own.

Actually, the RIO is selling these exact chips in the WSOP gift shop. When I saw them I started laughing. They cost .75 each. They might be selling these chips because last year they had some problems when someone was buying $100 chips from the gift shop and then using them in actual tournaments. When stacked the 2005 "gift shop" $100 chips looked like real tournament chips.

Re: Rare? WSOP?...

I actually have one of these that a friend gave me as a gift thinking I'd be super impressed by it. Mine has the label on both sides - no hotstamp. It's supposedly from the RIO gift shop.
