To answer your questions, yes, yes and yes. It seems a little odd. The picture is of the classics or "trademarks". The description says Pharoah's. They can all be considered TH&C chips since they actually do have a TH&C on them. I wouldn't consider that misleading, they are after all made by Paulson.
A reason they probably ended so low could be because the seller is relatively new and people probably don't want to pay $1 a chip to a seller without much feedback.
I almost bidded on those, but since he/she in new and only accepts money order, it could very well be a fraud auction...Plus they never responded to my emails when I asked a question, and the picture is a giveaway, why sell Pharaohs and have a picture of the classics...mmmmmmmmmmm, dont add up.
There's a second auction for another 650 set from the same seller. I was going to bid, but have never dealt with money orders so I didn't.
Even though this is stereotyping and unfair, I would say that the money order requirement is usually just a way to make sure the seller gets your money and you have no recourse against him/her. I generally consider it suspicious. I understand that it is also a way to avoid Paypal fees, but I just think that those fees along with the Ebay listing fees are a cost of doing business.
