OK, those pinks are pretty nice. Good luck in getting your price.

But the yellow $20s are the best chip of the bunch (including the $1,000s) IMHO. Perfect unusual color, love the picture of Chinatown. Totally useless denomination, but fantastic chips!

Re: PNY $2.50 chips are HOT!

I saw that a rack of these went for 500 in a snap. I don't see why these can't go for a little more in light of its low production numbers and pretty color. I cannot argue with you about the yellow chinatown chips, though. This whole collection is P.H. Phat! I'm just going to parlay the money to buy more PNY's anyway. I hope I get my price too!

Re: PNY $2.50 chips are HOT!

Well, I guess they're not that hot. My chips did not sell. I'm breaking the set up and selling ten chips at a time. Cheers:

I think you might have gotten $600 in an auction, but not buy it now. Auctions drive people mad sometimes, they're mentally prepared to pay $500, but at the last minute they get competitive and overpay.

Re: PNY $2.50 chips are HOT!

I was thinking about starting the auction at $0.01, but I did not want to risk that the auction might end low. sometimes its happenes.

I did wind up getting a commitment from someone to buy the rack of $2.50's for $480. That would have been my net profits if I sold for $500 through ebay. I think ebay takes a $18 cut on "final listing" fees. and that's on top of their starting fees, and their 2.9% paypal fees. bah!!!!

very good point. But I don't have the heart to do it with great poker chips. But for shoes, I can!
