GL Seven, Sorry about what happened before. No hard feelings I hope. I understand now 100% your position, i guess i was miffed at the small chance of getting the 1000's at a great deal. I knew that it could not happen, so i have forked out cash like everone else to get some.

Looks like you are going to do fine on the no reserve part

Chad

Re: (10) $1,000 PRIMARY New Yorker Auction Starting bid $0.01 NO RESERVE!!!

No hard feelings. I know it was not fun to be on your side of it, because I have been there before.

I actually had a verbal & email deal with a down payment on 1,000 crystal park chips and the original seller raised the price after I sent my down payment of half the money. I WAS PISSED! Had he been in the same state I would have knocked on his door in the morning. I have been in your shoes after I had a deal and put a down payment on it. I told him to send me the money back. I never did business with him again.

I appreciate you posting this. We have all wanted chips that we may not have been able to get. I assure you there are chips that I want that I will not get either. Glad you got the chips you wanted.

over $300 for (10) of these chips?...You've got to be kidding me.

Interesting how jacked up the bidding war has been started by an ebay member with 1 feedback rating, and who's been a member since January-

Re: (10) $1,000 PRIMARY New Yorker Auction Starting bid $0.01 NO RESERVE!!!

You are just noticing the prices of these chips? What planet have you been on?

I have been looking at this guy and would have refused his bid had he not spent $300 on a set of chips already. Take a closer look before you insinuate that this is someone bumping this auction for me. With chips in this kind of demand, someone would have bid for them besides him. These chips are easily going for $30 a chip. Take a look at how many have been sold for $30 plus and some feedback before you open your mouth. I have had 2 auctions that ended already where the chip went for $40 + dollars. Were they in on it too.

Also, if I wanted to have someone bump it for me I would not have chosen him with 1 feedback.

Relax guy...I never insinuated you were bumping your auctions or anything, just noticed it was strange...I actually made a mistake in adding up the pricing on these...I realize they are going for $30+ on a chip....now....my mistake, long day, guess I was seeing something that wasnt there and forgot how ridiculously priced these are going for and miscalculated the costs in my head....relax-

yea, I looked around and noticed that...that person is bidding on all the high denom chips......I find that odd....no one else?

Im always looking for a conspiracy though...so it wouldnt be surprising to me to find the market on these being heavily fabricated....I just dont see how they could jump value overnight like they have-

(disclaimer: I am not, and in no way, implying the seller in this thread has anything to do with my beliefs in the possibility of a tainted, fabricated market on these chips)
