i believe these are fantasy chips that paulson used to sell in retail stores. i've seen them come and go on eBay, so i imagine that there are enough out there to put together a set.
If I remember right there are 11 different chips for 10 different denom. 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 25,50, 100, 500, 1000. There 2 sets of 2 when it comes to colors and edge spots. The 2 and the 25 were the same, and two others were the same. I think it was the $10 and $1000, but not sure.
There used to be a Horseshoe Poker Club located in Gardena. This is was way back before Hold Em was played in California. A long time ago, the city of Gardena was the only city that had poker clubs in the L.A. area (think of the pics in Mike Caro's Book of Tells!). I am not sure if those chips were from that casino though, but they look like poker denoms to me.
