Chips: 1,132 | | | Re: Palmas set listed on eBay-Revised listing I've revised the listing with a reserve of $399 for 300 chips....what I just can't figure out is why I can't even get a bid on some of the rarest chips out there yet people spend more money on custom chips that have no real upside value as a collectible. What is wrong with this market?
People went nuts over the New Yorkers and their were 10 times as many of those made as the Palmas line.
Sorry people I'm just venting because this is really frustrating to buy chips at $2.50 each and now can't sell them in sets when last year there were no full sets available any longer. |

Atleast, thats what it was for me. I could buy whatever chips I wanted and make whatever set I wanted to. I know the $1000's had a limit but for the most part you could make any set work.

But the New Yorkers either way are spectacular chips and for the price can't be beat....If I had the chance I would have bought 2500 of them myself but not until I sell some of what I now have on hand. Now as for the $1000's, my ASM order will easily take care of that because I'm getting some nearly matching Palmas look alikes made from $1000 through $10000. And I have to say that they are quite spectacular and two of them have the same coloring as the New Yorker $500 and $100 primaries. |

BTW, thats cool that your making higher denom replicas, great idea!

BTW, thats cool that your making higher denom replicas, great idea! | i've tried that before but ebay keeps pulling down my ads when I offer a choice....you should have seen the uproar at thechipboard.com over my listing for 40 Borlands where I offered a choice of any chip in the photo! But I think that my m2m listing also says that I can make up any type set needed.
As for my Palmas look alikes, this had to go through JimB for review and approval before anything went ahead and I finally got the final inlay approved this week. I could not be happier and I already have three other "Palmas" chiptalkers who have requested to be in on this with me so far. |

Why are they against that?
