What do you guys think of these? I've been wanting to build a new table, but couldn't find base/legs I liked. I think these are pretty cool. I'm not affiliated with this auction/seller in any way.
Looks pretty nice to me. I've got folding legs on both of my tables since I don't have a dedicated poker room, but would love to get something like this eventually. Mr Meaner was going to eventually be selling bases in the M2M area, and his are very nice as well. Might be worth PMing him to see if he's getting close to hosting a store or something of that sort.
I saw Meaner's tables and they are awesome. The legs are sick. I just can't justify spending that amount on them. I can't see them being close to the $120. I really hope I'm not dead wrong on the price difference. I figured these looked nice and will add a touch to the table. Now the hard part will be building a table with a nice rail.
I play cards with the guy selling these on Ebay. He lives about 10 minutes from me. I met him through one of his Ebay auctions.
I still haven't seen any of these in person yet. I keep using folding legs for the ease of storage. I think that his price is pretty good from what I've seen. I know alot of people have been using these... http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=10783
If I'm reading this right you are looking at $150 plus shipping for them.

Those are reallly nice. I’ll be doing something similar with my next table. The wife found an old Oak dining table at Good Will for $20. The legs are in great shape, big heavy turned red oak. I'll mount the table top on rails (like a dining table).
I considered the Rockler's but if I'm not mistake you have to buy 2 pedestals as $60+ each plus the set of feet for $119.99. That's what turned me off of those. Correct me if I'm wrong, but arent the pedestal's and feet sold separate?
Yep I bought a set. I was going to have my brother-in-law pick them up for me in Michigan, but that's too much of a hassle(he's been real busy). I then realized that seller didn't take Paypal(doh!), so I probably won't have them for a while after send out m/o. I'll definitely post my take on them.

You should just plan to pick them up on a Friday night. That way you can stop in and play a tourney or two with us. We play about 2 miles from his house.
