Listed these on ebay and will continue this listing until all are sold. This is a buyers choice auction.

I just listed those two minutes ago after I saw some being bid or listed up to $3.49. I have 80 of them. It's what I left the casino with instead of losing more at the $3-$6 tables I got up and left after losing my shirt getting two full houses and trip aces cracked within a span of 30 minutes. Didn't even bother to cash in the damn chips!

Re: Borland Collection

Noel,

I thought you might want to be aware that your auctions are being discussed at thechipboard.com. The consensus opinion there is that they are misleading. Just an FYI.

Here's the thread so far in a nutshell:

VERY MISS LEADING AUCTION
Posted By: DWIGHT (SKIP) HAROUFF LM-88 <GOLDPLATED@AOL.COM> (64.12.117.7)

HERE IS WHAT THE GUY SAYS.. I THOUGHT THIS WAS AGAINST THE RULES.. = Your choice of any ONE chip listed in this photo of the Borland Commemorative collection = LINK = http://cgi.ebay.com/Borland-1-thru-100-Jolly-Marina-*****-Cat-Landmark_W0QQitemZ6251095921QQcategoryZ63750QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
=================================================================

Nice one... I agree. Worse than that, IMHO, is the $10.00 UPS Ground shipping to Canada. If he/she sent it US Air Mail it would only cost him a buck.
=================================================================

I saw that when he listed. He has two auctions running like it. Someone is not going to read it properly and get caught.
=================================================================

This is why I would never sell Chips on eBay. If I did I would have somebody find it and pick it apart by the way I worded it or how much I charged for postage or how I said it
What Rules? Ebay (had no idea they had a rule like this). You can't Post a picture of a bunch of chips and say "Choose One" when you Won the Auction. I think they explained that ok. At least I got that right in my mind. If I WON I get to choose which one I want. Gee that was simple.
Priority Mail is now $4.05 any where in the USA. To Canada I think it would have to be taken up with the seller before the auction if you won (how much it cost). If it was $10 I would tell him to "Shove it". I would think any place outside North America it would cost the $10.00. It cost me $6.00 to ship lottery tickets to China and that will take 4-6 weeks by Air-letter post.
My opinion.
Now inform me more with how it should read.

thanks for the lead. These is nothing that I know of which is misleading about this auction. I'll have to go find this discussion and see what they are saying. As for shipping, I'd like to see him ship to cananda for a buck!

Glad to help out. I didn't think there was anything awry about the auctions.

I've changed the auction text a bit. Hopefully someone is smart enough to realize that they get their choice. Plus I DID day in the shipping section that all international bidders must contact me prior to shipping in order to properly calculate costs. That guy who wrote that post did not seem to read that and it was there the entire time.

Sometimes I hate ebay which is most of the time. All these people listing fradulent BS and shipping charges out of sight and they pulled my listings for giving people a choice from 20 chips. So I edited the first post here with the new listing info.
Do, I re listed them and will let everyone here know that if there is anyone here who collects the Borlands, you can CHOOSE from any of the chips listed in the photograph! Take that ebay.

Also, I am in need of only 2 more Borlands to complete my collection: The ***** Cat $1 and Landmark $1. Any leads or trades ?
