Yeah but see it's not 1 of 5 known to exist. It's:

"This is one of only about 5"

About 5? Sounds like there are an unknown quantity of these out there. Don't get me wrong it might be worth the $ and I definitely think it's a hot chip (I really like that mold) but man that's still a lot of money for a chip.

Thanks Nugzy! That is an amazing chip. How cool would it be to have a chip that bugzy might have held? It is an amazing piece of Las Vegas History.

This is probably one of those instances where if it were cleaned, it would be worth about 1/4 (or less) of what it sold for. I've seen it over and over again on the Antiques Roadshow. The appraiser is always saying "Well, at auction i would expect this to fetch about $12,000, but since you CLEANED it...."
