First off, if these chips are so damn special, you think they would use something better than dice chips. And do you really have to gamble 2 MILLION dollars? His math doesn't seem right.
If it is true, you needed to gamble over 2 million dollars to earn yourself a set of DICE chips? Please someone tell me this is a lie and no one would even think about doing that. |

Let me give you an idea of how hard this set is to get.
In the PokerStars FPP store this top prize item costs an astounding 8000 FPP points
Seeing how 5 points is awarded for every dollar of tournament fees paid,
You would have to play $5000+100 Heads-Up 400 times!
5100 * 400 = $2,040,000
That's over two million dollars you would have to gamble in order to be able to obtain this set.
It has taken me close to a year to accumulate this many points!
| 1st, he chose probably about the silliest way to try to gain fpp's as his example: $5000 + $100 heads-up? lol. 2nd, by his example, you would have to play 40, not 400, of these heads-up matches:
$100 x 5 fpps/$ = 500 fpps x 40 = 8000 fpps. this would still be pretty ridiculous, as one would have to put up $5100/ hu match x 40 matches = $204,000, but i would guess that some one who is going to be playing at that level wouldn't really worry too much about fpp's. also, i'm fairly certain that pstars has special comps for their high-roller players...

While one might think that there can't be that many suckers around, the proliferation of such amatuerish misrepresentation would lead one to believe that either the scammers are stupid, or the internet has attracted a lot of potential victims for fraud. Just look at your e-mail spam and you'll find scams that had all but become extinct for a lack of viable marks, that is until the internet seemingly gave the scams new life. Quote: |

Chips: 47 | | | Re: Pokerstars Chips...Unreal I just bid on 4 auctions for crystal park chips(50 chips each auction, 1-2-3-5 denoms) and got an e-mail from ebay's fraud dept. telling me not to deal with this person and their membership was pulled and auctions cancelled. I swear the same chips are back up again, just a heads up.

Actually I don't see them anymore, the guy must have changed to another name and got busted again. Or maybe I've had too much cough syrup again....

| Yes, the math is more than a bit off. And his numbers also assume that you would spend all that money if you LOSE ALL the heads-up matches. If you are playing at such a high level of heads-up, 400 times, and cant scrape together even one win...you need more than a set of slugged chips, my friend. |

They just can't seem to comprehend that most basic of all caveats,
