Those TCR values are more likely seller saber rattling than truth. While I'm not a chip collector, a knowledgeable chip collector has told me that chips seldom fetch anywhere near even the bottom end or their TCR value, even when they are in the most immaculate of condition. I believe the pricing on chips is determined more on what the current market will pay rather than what is in the TCR (which may be more a value that you might pay at one of the boutique stores on one of the Vegas strip properties.

Don't forget when you flood the market with all those chips and tokens the price will really drop.
The value would only drop if there was already an established value for them in addition to their TCR price classification. The fact that TCR puts chips into category values should in itself tell you that it is a generalized estimate.

This set was listed previously, and did not meet the reserve. I think it got up to about $10,000?? (after some research, I see it was about $8500)
I seriously doubt that any people that pay TCR values buy in this quantity. I wouldn't pay more than $1 each for these chips, and even then it would be a risk. IMHO.
