Chips: 200 | | | Current Binion's http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Rack-Casino-...QQcmdZViewItem
I wouldn't pay this much for these (whether it's cheaper than face value or not).
But this is a good looking set of chips. In fact, these may be my favorite casino chip I've ever seen.
Clean design. Good edge spot variety.
Maybe when they change their chip design I'll be able to get a set of these cheap! |

Chips: 200 | | | Re: Current Binion's Misleading? ebay?
NEVER!
I mean, c'mon. At one point, those SIX chips were probably IN a rack of some sort. |

Chips: 1,728 | | | Re: Current Binion's Actually it's not misleading, just some gaming industry jargon that may not be understood by all. The range of chips used in a casino is often called the 'house rack'. Odd that they would start off the bidding below face value on current rack chips though, since those are currently negotiable instruments (i.e. you could cash them in for their full face value.) And Binions (like their Horseshoe predecessor) is probably one of the few casinos that has a $4 chip (considered to be bad luck or a sign of death in some Asian cultures). |

Chips: 501 | | | Re: Current Binion's I really like those Binion's chips, too. I'm a fan of a clean and simple design, and the colours are nice on those. I think I have a $1 chip being sent by a friend who visited Vegas a while ago, along with some from a few other casinos there.

Chips: 6,130 | | | Re: Current Binion's I like them too, I have 300 of the $1 chips that I use as a cash set!
I got 200 when they were about a week old and another 100 about a month and a half later. |

Current chips are almost as good as money, for the most part they're negotiable instruments within the casino. But any time you have $100 bills for $90-95, let me know, I'll buy all you can get your hands on. Quote: |
