Chips: 951 | | | those chips have no inlay. they were made for the shots of the tourney when everyone had huge stacks of chips. it wasn't necessary to have inlays on any of the chips in the middles of the stacks because they would never be seen. yes the chips were made by blue chip, not paulson. somehow this seller continuously gets away w/ having paulson in his title. i put "paulson family" in my title and clearly explain inside the auction that the chips were produced by blue chip, and my auction gets cancelled by ebay w/in a day. go figure. anyway, the chips are very nice, and i would definitely buy those auctions to supplement my sets if i had the means. the $1 chips are virtually impossible to find w/ inlays. |

Chips: 123 | | | Thanks for the info. I am still new to the site and the poker chip addiction Thanks Chip Talk. Reading all of the posts i was figuring that these were Blue Chip Co. and not Paulsons. I am still unsure about the chips with no inlays? I guess that I could have some custom inlays to look like the ones with an inlay. The price looks good even for clay chips?? |

Chips: 14,015 | | | He claims they were made by blue chip under 'paulson supervision'. I suspect that part is b.s. to just slip the word paulson in there without ebay giving them the boot. No way are these 10 gram chips though, I've got a sample set of the colorado inlay chips and they are light as a feather.

In that respect, they are a totally good buy.
(and DIY labels would be centered as perfectly as you could make them, cant say the same for BC!)

Chips: 1,728 | | Probably meant to say that "they were made by Blue Chip under Paul's son's supervision"? (though that wouldn't be entirely correct either, since Mike Endy is actually Paul Endy's nephew ) Quote: |

Chips: 1,728 | | That doesn't really sound terribly fair. On the other hand, 'Paulson family' could be pretty loose. You could legitimately call TR King the granddaddy of Paulson chips ... literally, since TR King was owned by Paul Endy Sr., grandfather to Paul Endy Jr's sons (Paul-son) . Or ASM or Chipco could be called the original manufacturer of Paulson chips since their prececessor is the A. Burt company who originally actually made the compression molded chips for both Bud Jones and Paul-son Quote: |

Chips: 1,728 | | Can't you get the blanks directly from Blue Chip? Those look like Blue Chip's standard edge spot blanks
I can't remember the name of the site, but I'm sure one of the other members will remember it, but I think the guy that originally had the blanks is back in business again and is selling both solids and edgespot blanks at horrendous prices (this is the guy that claimed to have been robbed blind by his employees?)
