I had to share this with you all. A single Harrahs New Orleans $1 chip for $41. WTF !! I cant figure this one out. Does anyone think that these will be worth more cause of the recent tradgey??? Wow!

Same chip would have sold for 2 or 3 bucks a couple of weeks ago. The loss of the casinos in the area has apparently created a craze.
The auction (and others like it) should go towards relief funds, instead of capitalizing on the tragedy.

I wish that was going to be the case but somehow I dont think so. It would be nice to see the proceeds go twards the Red Cross or something. Then again, would you belive something like that??

That sounds like something that Bill Harrah would have done when he was alive (back when Harrah's was a 2-3 casino chain instead of a mega gaming corp.)

Hats off to them! In a day and age of companies downsizing/giving minimal financial compensation, this is a breath of fresh air.
