I like the chips they use on the show. Now someone is selling knockoffs, maybe. 9gram ? We'll see...

Hmmm, $50 shipping. Nice. Plus, I'm pretty sure they use non edge spotted chips. I wonder if Celebrity Poker knows their logo has been ripped off or if they are somehow behind this.

Definately rip offs, I am pretty sure the ones they use on TV are non-edgespot Paulson's.

From the sound I'm fairly certain they are non-edge spot Paulsons (not these, but the real ones on the show). I think the chips from the show spawned the solid color Matsui clay group buy.

I don't think they're a knock-off per se, but rather a run that was authorized by Bravo/NBC sometime around the end of last year. For some reason these chips never made it to market. I remembered seeing them on either the pokernstuff or AKKO (pokerchipmart) sites and they looked like they were based on the chip that is used for the Las Vegas Premium/Pro chips sold by both of those sites (along with various eBay sellers).

The chips that are used on the show are solid colored Paulson TH&C with a Giant inlay and denominated at 100 and 500. Paulson's name does run in the credits for the show as well.

Those and the chips from the NBC Heads-Up Champ. at the Nugget are the inspiration for the M.G.B

These are offically licensed products. They are sold through Akko International.

They are identical to thier 9g Las Vegas Clay line.
Very nice chips.

Zoinks! My officially licensed Celebrity Poker Showdown chips are plastic with metal slugs.

I don't doubt that. I was just commenting that the Celeb. Poker Showdown chips that I purchased a while back are the cheapo ones. I guess Bravo has expanded or altered the licensing on the chips. If these had been around when I purchased mine, I surely would have opted for them instead.

Moot point now, though, as my CPS chips have been retired in favor of my Pharaoh's.
