Paulson solid poll #10 - Cherry vs. Radiant Red
This is for the Paulson hot-stamp project going on here. Please vote for the color and quantity you want. If you want more than 500, vote for "500+" and then post your actual quantity in the thread. Please only vote if you intend to follow through with an order. Thank you!
NOTE: This poll is multiple choice. You can vote for both colors in the quantity you would order, i.e. if you would buy 300 Cherry but only 100 Radiant Red, vote for those two options. If you would only buy one of these colors but the other is a deal-breaker, only vote for one. If you would order the same amount regardless of which color is in the final set, vote for both of the same quantity.
The polls close in 3 days.

Re: Paulson solid poll #10 - Cherry vs. Radiant Red
I just re-read the last option and it doesn't make much sense. What that means is "Neither of these colors will work for the set I want; I needed a different red color (or a different green color for the other poll), so I will not be ordering any chips from this group but." That's the "deal-breaker" part. I put that option in because I'm curious how many full orders would be lost due to Royal Red, Hot Pink, Sherbet Green, etc. not being offered. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Paulson solid poll #10 - Cherry vs. Radiant Red
Not voting because I am not sure if I am getting red for the cash set but if I do, I would certainly prefer Cherry.

Re: Paulson solid poll #10 - Cherry vs. Radiant Red
Taking the whole set into consideration, I'm voting for Cherry. I love the look of Radiant Red, but since Blaze Orange and Arc Yellow are in, Radiant Red doesn't work as well. Radiant Red is not as easy to distinguish from BO as is Cherry, and RR and AY do not have as much contrast as does Cherry and AY. Also, Radiant Red is a mix of red, pink, and orange tones to get it to be the color it is. With two orange-hued chips already in the set, a third makes it too orange-heavy. Cherry's strong red color helps balance the set.
In short, Radiant Red is great but for this set I believe Cherry is better and a necessary compromise to make the color set the best it can be. Just my $.02.

you make a good point. I can see conflict with radiant red and blaze orange (no conflict with arc yellow and blaze orange), but I don't see RR and BO being on the table together in a traditional sense. I do think Radiant Red works better with Lime . I would hate to see Horizon Blue get dropped and would drop Metallic Silver instead. I think a blue and red is needed in the color scheme.
