I got my samples in the mail today. All 38 of them.

The change is subtle and nice. The most noticeable difference is the edge. It has the same satiny sheen as the faces of the chip. I put them all on my scale. They are a bit lighter than the old ones, but nothing to get worked up over. I am thinking a mini review is in order. Thanks Gene.

I was SO hoping you (or someone else for that matter) would write one. If you can post pics in a mini review, can you post side-by-side pics of the 2 versions in order to compare the edges?

Will do. I have a really nice camera. Now I just have to learn how to take good pictures that adequately show the difference and otherwise do these chips justice.

And anyone out there that had a custom order done on these blanks, feel free to send me a sample set to be included in the review.

The only stipulation is I get to get them.

Got mine today Gene, thanks. Im really liking the new chip. Im glad I waited to put together a custom order. The edges are great, and the finish on the face almost has a sparkle to it when the light hits it. Working on an order now! Thanks again!

I ordered a lot of different samples. I have to say that these are one of the best, if not the best chips out there IMO.
